Daryl Hernandez has more than 18 years of experience conducting environmental site assessments (ESAs) and remedial actions in compliance with regulatory agency oversight. Mr. Hernandez has provided skilled services for preparing winning Brownfields grant applications and managing Brownfields projects. He has sponsored National Brownfield Associations meetings and presented at the 2006 and 2007 Conferences. Under his management clients have received more than $1,300,000 in Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Brownfields grants.
Mr. Hernandez has also managed a broad range of site assessments, soil and groundwater investigations, facility audits, soil remediation projects, waste minimization projects, and environmental due diligence services. Responsibilities included agency negotiations with the DTSC, preparing work plans, evaluating analytical data, developing cost estimates, managing field efforts, client coordination, and cost and schedule controls.
Glenn Mayer, PE
Mr. Mayer is the E2 Operations Manager with further responsibilities extending to project management, solutions development, and systems implementation. With 22 years of environmental consulting experience, he has developed a strong background in providing multimedia compliance services for clients in the private, municipal, and federal sectors. In addition to information management solutions, Mr. Mayer’s technical background is grounded in air quality permitting.
As a Certified Permitting Professional in the South Coast Air Quality Management District, Mr. Mayer has prepared and managed the preparation of numerous environmental analyses and permit applications for varied industries. Nearly all of these applications have included New Source Review (NSR) analyses as well as health risk assessments.
Mike Mitchell, MS
Mr. Mitchell is the EMIS Services Operations Manager and has 20 years of combined industry and consulting experience in EHS compliance, hazardous materials management and information systems deployment. A seasoned program and project manager, he has extensive experience 'bridging the gap' between EHS and IT professionals, having direct industry management experience in both organizations. He has successfully managed numerous software solution designs and deployments of both custom and commercial software products across multiple industries. Various clients and industries including airlines, automotive, biotech, engineering services, electric utility, food/beverage, general manufacturing, government research, high-tech, and oil & gas have benefitted from Mike's EHS software planning and delivery expertise. Mr. Mitchell brings an array of client, vendor and staff resource management experience to bear helping to ensure project success.
Richard Mock, PE
Rick Mock brings 15 years of professional consulting experience to the team. He has seasoned project management skills and has led or conducted dozens of EMIS strategic planning, needs assessment, design, and implementation projects for numerous companies in a variety of industries including oil and gas, public utilities, pharmaceutical, chemical, biotechnology, petrochemicals, semiconductor, power generation and general manufacturing. He has successfully managed EMIS projects spanning a variety of profiles, from local municipalities to global deployments. His management has led to the success of complex EMIS projects, including implementation of many of the leading EMIS solutions available on the marketplace. Through that experience Mr. Mock has gained invaluable knowledge of the criteria for project success.
Mr. Mock has helped pioneer many of the tools and processes used by E2 in its services, including strategic planning, business case development, design and implementation approaches, and screening and assessing new technology. He brings current industry knowledge and information to the project. Mr. Mock underpins this EMIS experience with a strong background in environmental consulting.
Julie Moe-Reynolds, CPCM
As Chief Financial Officer of E2 ManageTech, Ms. Moe-Reynolds is responsible for the financial management of E2 . Through her 18 years of experience, Ms. Moe-Reynolds has managed a diverse portfolio of projects with budgets ranging from $15,000 to over $300,000,000. Her experience includes the development of program marketing efforts, ensuring completion of mandated reports in compliance with all grant, legal, and licensing requirements; her expertise extends to managing environmental site assessments, site investigations, remedial investigations, construction management, design of remediation systems, removal of underground storage tanks (USTs), design and installation of USTs and aboveground storage tanks (ASTs), and design, manufacturing and testing communication satellites. A philosophy of listening to clients and delivering products on time and within budget has become her cornerstone to success.
William Musser, PE
Mr. Musser has 21 years of diverse engineering experience with an emphasis in remedial system design, installation, and operation and maintenance of remedial systems and equipment in the environmental industry. Mr. Musser also has over six years’ experience in petroleum engineering, specifically in reservoir management of producing oil and gas fields.
Mr. Musser provides remedial system evaluation, design, compliance and closure for sites impacted by chlorinated solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons, and leachate at operating and closed manufacturing facilities, gasoline stations, dry cleaning facilities, and landfills. His expertise in remediation design includes: vapor, groundwater, and free product extraction systems; bioventing, air sparging, and enhanced groundwater extraction by applied vacuum and/or fractured recovery wells; and intrinsic bioremediation and natural attenuation. Further experience includes installation, operation and maintenance of the following systems: vapor extraction using granular activated carbon, internal combustible engines, catalytic and thermal oxidizers, and compression condensation systems. His groundwater treatment systems experience includes liquid-phase granular activated carbon and air stripping.
Ed Rogan, PE, REA II
With over 30 years of experience, Mr. Ed Rogan holds the responsibility for the continuous improvement and delivery of solutions-based services involving the application of E2 ’s assessment, investigation, engineering, design, construction and operations capabilities and resources on behalf of clients. Mr. Rogan is adept at the logistics of program and project management, particularly for large, complex and multi-disciplined projects.
Drawing on a broad range of experience in the field of civil/environmental engineering, Mr. Rogan focuses on assessing the following: industry-specific business and financial impacts; remedial technology development, including innovative technologies; construction management; and project controls expertise. His skill set includes a familiarity with and appreciation of numerous federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and code requirements involving both U.S.- and non-U.S.-based regulations.
Mr. Rogan is adept at performing site assessments, site investigations, design, and construction phase activities associated with civil/environmental issues in various industry sectors including ports and harbors, transportation, the power industry, aerospace, and military facilities. His extensive list of satisfied clients includes a significant number of state and local agencies, various aerospace and petroleum industry notables, utilities, various marine ports and harbors throughout the world, and several general manufacturing customers. Through this diverse background, Mr. Rogan has dealt with virtually all industrial contaminants of concern.
Joanne Schroeder, PE
Ms. Schroeder is a founding partner of E2 ManageTech. As a founding partner, Ms. Schroeder is responsible for business development, strategic initiatives, project management, system solution design, and systems implementation. Ms. Schroeder managed or conducted EMIS selections, implementations and analysis for numerous clients, and has developed a leading method of conducting cost/benefit analysis for EMIS' that quantifies both direct and indirect costs. Ms. Schroeder has an extensive background in environmental engineering and subsurface remediation. Through her work experiences, she has worked with nearly every environmental contaminant class and with clients in many industries including chemicals, oil and gas, electronics manufacturing, general manufacturing, agencies and authorities, and transportation. Ms. Schroeder has a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Irvine (UCI), a MS in Environmental Engineering from University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), and an MBA from University of Southern California (USC).
